The Ageing Gracefully Wellness Fair is part of the International Humanizing  Healthcare Conference Oct. 18-20, 2017 at The Fairmont Chateau Laurier. For the first time in Ottawa, Bruyere Continuing Care is bringing together community specialists in aging, health, wellness and person-centred care.

The pre-conference Ageing Gracefully Wellness Fair is open to the public and will give us boomers an opportunity to explore ways to be pro-actively involved in our own health and well-being. Anyone of us who has experienced the decline in health of an aging parent, friend or relative, knows the social, emotional and financial distraught that impacts the entire family.  That’s why it’s so important to take care of ourselves now, so that we can live long and HEALTHY lives!  It’s never too late to start eating right, exercising, practicing relaxation techniques and generally enjoy life to it’s fullest!  When we do experience health issues it’s also important to know where to turn, how to advocate for yourself and make informed decisions that are right for what YOU want your life to look like as you age.
